Lain Chappell
Lain Chappell, with his wife, Barbara, have been building custom homes in El Paso, Teller, and Douglas Counties since 1995. It is their passion that their clients “Live Extraordinarily.” They believe the home building process is more than constructing a beautiful home; it is establishing a collaborative relationship between their clients, their contractors and themselves, in order to create homes of great value, with unique styles and functionality, and superior craftsmanship. They believe it is through this team relationship with their clients that a positive home building experience can be obtained by all. Recipient of multiple Parade of Homes awards, the Better Business Bureau’s Excellence in Customer Service and Ethics Award, Best of Houzz Customer Service Award, and the Gazette’s Best Workplaces Award, Solid Rock Custom Homes is a distinguished home builder in the community. Lain Chappell is one of five builders in the state of Colorado that has earned the title “Graduate Master Builder” by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
Charlie Shea
Charlie Shea has been building custom/luxury homes in Colorado Springs since the mid 1980s under C.R. Shea Homes. He and his wife, Nancy, were very active the majority of their career with local and national home builder associations, including the elite program known as Builder 20. The Shea’s have won several Parade and numerous Mame (Major Achievement for Marketing Excellence) Awards. Their main focus has always been the designing and building of custom homes but they also have had the pleasure of developing and building several small in-fill projects within the city. Some of these sites included custom homes, town homes, and luxury patio homes. Based on a solid career, reputation and relationships established over the years, Charlie and Nancy wanted to share their building experiences and business wisdom with Lain and Barbara Chappell of Solid Rock Custom Homes to form Shea Chappell Custom Homes.
